I feel like, for the majority of my life, I have had one foot in the here and now and one foot on a dusty road in cut-off shorts, a white tank, and cowboy boots, dripping in jewelry... wandering, letting myself be pulled in the direction of instinct. In this dreamspace, my arms are thick with bangles and bracelets, my neck covered in a mess of chains and stones, fingers heavy with the weight of too many rings.
