All of us "stone people" are fans of "The Goonies," right? I mean, we all dream about finding a treasure map and taking it on a wild adventure full of gemstones and treasures of all sorts. Right? As a kid, "The Goonies" was among my most regularly watched movies. I don't know that I have outgrown my hope to one day find a chest full of treasures. Sometimes, at my bench, all I do is play with stones. Sometimes, that play leads me down roads in other worlds filled with royalty, treasure, adventure... this piece grew from one of those moments at my bench. A dream of treasure... multi-stone, thick chain, the stuff of Queens.
