Amethyst was my first stone love. I remember the stone vividly, if I close my eyes, I can still feel it in my hands. I was in middle school and I had just been taught (by my World Studies teacher - amazing woman who lived right up the street from me) about how stones talk, teach, and heal. I would take my little amethyst into the mountains behind my house and hold it while I watched the sun set. All of this to say, Amethyst holds a special place in my heart. 
 
A true Alchemist, Amethyst takes the energy around it and turns it into love. What a gift... ultimately, everything is love. Amethyst just helps to guide energies that may be a little lost back home.
