This collection speaks so strongly to me... a collection the inspires creative transformation. It is commonly known that we project onto animals the human experience. Cats are often talked about having nine lives... don't we, also, though? How many lives have we lived in this one? Distinct chapters, almost entirely different people in the same body. We, too, transform and emerge new... over and over again. It's one of the most beautiful aspects of the human condition, from my perspective.
