In my emotional and spiritual body, spring is the New Year... the time to make resolutions, start new. It is the time of the year when new beginnings surround us; the time to plant seeds and water new growth. The start of a calendar year, misaligned with the moon and nature's own cycles, has always seemed like a strange time to start again. Doesn't it make more sense to start again when nature herself is starting again? To me, it does. This piece is a seed for the spirit, an invitation to reassess, plant anew, and water potential. 
 
Ethically sourced Turquoise set in sterling silver with fine silver bezel. Hand sawn brass feather. Hung from a sterling chain, approx. 17". 
 
Each of the many steps in the making of this piece was hand done, slowly and thoughtfully. Imperfections are part of the beauty of handmade jewelry and are intentionally left behind to help tell the story of its creation.
