I collect feathers, have for years. I have them in specimen boxes, in jars, and quite a few on the Alter of Found Treasures next to my bench. They are, to me, symbols of courage. It takes a lot of faith to leap, spread one's wings, and trust that flight will commence. A talisman to serve as a reminder that you are as free as you are courageous.
