I have always been a bit of a skeptic when it comes to training someone to be a leader that others follow.  To me, either someone has "it" or they don't. I don't really see it as something that can be trained into someone. That being said, I do believe we are all leaders of our own lives, our own unique journeys. How can we live into our own authentic brand of leadership in a way that guides our own choices honestly and with integrity? For me, it comes down to how deeply rooted one can be in love. In love, we see one another's humanity, we recognize and appreciate our own and others' imperfections, and we liberally share compassion... this is leadership that resonates with my spirit.
