Sapphires are believed to be tied to inner wisdom and connection to the divine. I am a strong believer that we are all reflections of, as Emerson put it, the "oversoul" - each one of us carrying a spark of the divine that, together, forms the whole of the spirit of the world, the highest knowing. What a kind, compassionate world it would be if we all looked for the spark of the divine in one another.
