There is a melancholy beauty about winter skies. The clouds feel distant; the sun, cold. It’s my favorite time of year to watch the sky. There is a loneliness in it that I relate to… everything a cloaked in sepia and promise.
 
This piece is a tribute to the heartbroken loneliness in winter skies. A brass feather on the back… there is freedom in solitude, after all.
