The dichotomy of good and bad... no, all just is as universal nature doesn't discern between the two. They both just are. The landscape of life on earth (throughout the whole of the universe) is one comprised of a balance of the sweetest and the most terrible.  How do we acknowledge, even celebrate, all facets of this wild adventure, the beautiful and the brutal? I have no answers to this. I am still quite enmeshed in keeping the hard stuff at bay. The dark side of the moon, though, she is also beautiful. Right? She is also beautiful.

Stone jewelry shouldn’t be worn in water or exposed to chemicals (soaps, lotions, detergents). I like to think of stones as living things (on much different time scales than the ones we are accustomed to). To extend their lives, we need to limit their exposure water and other chemicals/liquids.
