I am a moon watcher (is there a more official term for someone who is obsessed with the various faces of the moon?). It is quite common, when I travel, for me to drive to an open space and watch night wash over another day, soak in the light the moon offers in the darkness. There is a safety in these moments, for me... hidden by darkness, a small anchor of light offered by the moon.
